Discover the ancient beauty and culture of one of Europe's oldest cities during this memorable visit to Constanta.

Depart from the pier directly to Constanta, one of the oldest cities in Europe. Along the way, you will pass some of the city's most important sites before arriving at the imposing History and Archeology Museum, which is situated next to the Roman Mosaic, the largest mosaic in southeast Europe. Upon arriving in front of the Museum, you will see the statue of exiled Roman poet Ovidius Puplius Nasos. Known as the singer of tender love, Nasos was credited with the first written description of the ancient region and its people. The Museum displays the most representative exhibits gathered from all over Dobrogea, and its contents depict the presence of an industrious population. Among the wonderful sites to be seen and photographed in the Museum is the stunning Roman Edifice, constructed in the 4th century AD, and the largest of its kind in southeast Europe.

Next, you will drive past the renowned summer resort of Mamaia en route to the center of the city. Approximately 1 hour is planned for you to spend on your own for shopping along Stefan cel Mare Street, relaxing, and observing local life.

Following your visit, you will rejoin your coach for the return drive to the pier.

Please note: Guests are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes for this tour. This tour is wheelchair-accessible, although there are approximately 20 steps to climb at the Archaeology Museum and 28 steps to climb during the visit to the Roman Mosaic there are alternate means such as a ramp to get to these sites.
