A once-in-a-lifetime adventure awaits you on this unforgettable and exciting tour. Traveling on horseback, you'll explore the lush interior of the Samaná Peninsula, where the mountain range can reach an altitude of up to 2,100 feet.

Upon arrival at a local ranch, you will be greeted by your friendly guides who will provide you with a safety briefing and instructions on how to handle your horse, with each rider being assisted by a skilled horse handler. Once you are ready to go, you'll make your way along picturesque winding trails and steep paths, which your sure-footed horse navigates with ease. This journey leads to isolated rural villages and a variety of native vegetation, flora and fauna including coffee, cacao, and a variety of tempting tropical fruits.

After navigating through the densely forested countryside for approximately 30 minutes, you'll arrive at an area where you will dismount your horse and hike the remaining distance to the spectacular Salto El Limon Falls. As the Falls come into view, you will be simply awestruck by the beautiful cascade of cold water rising 120 feet. Time is allotted here to relax near the cooling mists of the Falls or take a quick swim in the invigorating natural pool. Afterwards, it's time to make the hike back to your horses where a refreshing drink of water awaits you. Remounting your horse, you'll ride back to the ranch where your coach is waiting to transfer you to the pier.

Please note: This tour travels on horseback over a bumpy trail with inclines, and included walking on some uneven surfaces which can also become muddy. This tour is not recommended for guests who utilize a wheelchair, those with mobility concerns, recent back or neck injuries, or pregnant women. Flat shoes with a non-slip sole and closed toes is required - no sandals. Light, comfortable clothing, cap, sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended. Guests wishing to swim should wear a bathing suit under their clothing and bring their own towel. Minimum age to participate in the tour is 6 years old, and all guests must sign a release form before being allowed to participate. Guests taking part in any water activities do so at their own risk and responsibility.
