Experience the picturesque beauty of Cas Cay in a unique new way during this kayaking and eco-tour at the St. Thomas Mangrove Wildlife Refuge and Marine Sanctuary.
Depart the pier for the scenic drive to the St. Thomas Mangrove Wildlife Refuge and Marine Sanctuary. Upon arrival, your guide will lead you on a kayaking, reef snorkeling and hiking journey thorough a 16-acre uninhabited island. Along the way, you will take in splendid views that include coral and shell beaches, cliffs, tidal pools and a blowhole.
Seated in two-person, easy-to-paddle kayaks, you will paddle through tranquil lagoons and protected mangroves while learning about the mangrove habitats, coral reefs, rare wildlife and fragile eco-systems. Keep an eye out for stingrays, octopus, starfish, conch, puffer fish, tropical sea birds, lizards, and iguanas in their natural habitat. This tour is highly educational, and is suitable for the entire family.
Following your visit, you will be transferred back to the pier.
Please Note: This tour is only recommended for active guests in good physical condition. This tour is not recommended for guests with limited mobility or guests who utilize a wheelchair. Gatorade, water, snacks, snorkeling and safety gear, and a dry bag are included. Paddling and snorkeling instructions are also provided; no experience is necessary to participate. Guests are advised to wear a swimsuit under a cover-up, waterproof shoes, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses and bring a towel from the ship. The maximum weight to participate on this tour is 250 pounds.
