Boston, United States-port

Home to more colleges and universities than any other city in the United States, Boston has been the intellectual capital of America for more than 350 years. Step into the past along Boston’s Freedom Trail, leading you through some of the most interesting chapters in U.S. history: the site of the Boston Massacre, the Old South Meeting House, Faneuil Hall, and Beacon Hill. You will discover 16 of America’s major colonial and revolutionary sites in all, and all within a 1.5-mile walk.

Enjoy the highlights of Boston as this panoramic tour takes you past the city's most important and scenic sites. One of the city's most attractive spots, you will see Copley Square bordered by the architectural wonders of Trinity Church and the Boston Public Library. Continuing through the upscale residential area of Back Bay and along Newbury Street, you will pass a number of upscale boutiques and trendy cafes as you make your way past the Public Garden. In the heart of the city and overlooking the green oasis of the Boston Common, lies one of the most elegant and wealthiest neighborhoods of the city, Beacon Hill. During your scenic drive you will pass by the gold dome of the Massachusetts State House, as well as the Old South Meeting House where the Boston Tea Party began. Looking across the Charles River as the patriots did in April of 1775, you will see the steeple of Old North Church where Paul Revere ordered two lanterns hung in the steeple to signal that the British Redcoats were approaching.
