This tour highlights the various Wetlands and "Green Banks" of Takoradi. Starting off from the pier, you will first drive around the Sekondi/Takoradi metropolis on your way to the Monkey Hill wetlands area. A brief photo stop here and then you are back on your way, traveling next to the twin city wetlands where another photo stop is scheduled. These verdant wetlands are home to many species of birds and animals.

Your tour continues from here with a drive past the Effia Nkwanta Hospital and then through the Fijai Green Banks zone. You will also pass through the green hilly landscape of the Sekondi colonial residency. Before making your way back to the pier, your coach will drive through the Market Circle and parts of the commercial enclave of the city of Takoradi.

Please note: This tour includes moderate walking over some uneven surfaces. The tour is not available to guests who utilize a wheelchair and those guests with mobility concerns are cautioned to evaluate their personal level of ability and stamina. Loose clothing, comfortable, flat walking shoes, sun caps, sunglasses and insect repellent are suggested. Please bear in mind that you will be visiting an under-developed destination which will not have the same amenities and comforts that you would find in more urban areas.
