Traveling in a small group by private mini-coach, depart Falmouth and head off the beaten track by way of the historic King Harry Ferry to the Roseland Peninsula. Your local guide will show you this area of unspoiled natural beauty through his or her own eyes, choosing the route at will to encompass hidden gems and to give you that 'Off The Beaten Track' sense that is the true way to experience this lovely part of the country that has been inspiration for authors ranging from Daphne DuMaurier to Rosamunde Pilcher.

Along the way, pause in the pretty villages of Veryan, with its well known round houses, and St. Just in Roseland, whose church is set in magnificent gardens overflowing with subtropical shrubs and trees perched on the water's edge. View the dramatic Cornish coastline around St. Mawes, which served as the setting for the popular television series Poldark, and pass the impressive St. Mawes Castle, built between 1539 and 1541, which adds to the drama of this evocative landscape.

Stopping at delightful St. Mawes, you will have a little free time on your own to browse the shops and galleries or simply soak up the ambience. Continuing on from here, you will enjoy excellent views across the estuary towards Falmouth and Pendennis Castle, pausing to enjoy the lovely scenic location.

A drive along the splendid Cornish coastline brings you back to the pier where your tour concludes.

Please note: This tour includes some moderate walking over mostly even surfaces. The tour is available to guests who utilize a collapsible wheelchair, can make their own way on and off the coach and have a companion to assist them. Those with mobility concerns are cautioned to evaluate their personal level of ability and stamina. Weather appropriate clothing and flat, comfortable walking shoes are suggested. Guests should be prepared for the possibility of rain. The order of the sights viewed or visited may vary.
