    Dubai is the second largest of the seven Emirates and is considered the commercial capital of the UAE and the Middle East. Popularly known as the 'City of Merchants' for its long history of trade, the city continues to be the hub for the transport of commodities in the region. The city is a unique blend of the East and the West - a fascinating potpourri of oriental charm and western modernity.

    Day 1: May 1st, 2015

    Arrive via international flights to Dubai and transfer to your hotel.

    Check in time is 3:00pm. Although every effort will be made to have the rooms available sooner, this cannot be guaranteed.

    Day 2: May 2nd, 2015

    Following breakfast at the hotel you will drive to the city of Abu Dhabi - the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. The city is situated on a small peninsula surrounded by a cluster of islands and this tour covers a variety of interesting highlights such as The Grand Mosque, The Masdar City (photo stop) and the Corniche Area. The drive takes you past the beautiful corniche and interesting sights around the city of Abu Dhabi. The city is popularly referred to as the “Manhattan of the Gulf” because of the profusion of ultra-modern skyscrapers. A photo stop will be made in the corniche area and also in front of the Emirates Palace Hotel.

    You will also have a panoramic tour driving past the new developments of Yas Island such which include Ferrari World and the Yas Marina Circuit.

    You will have the opportunity to visit Manarat Saadiyat which is located on Saadiyat Island. This exciting artistic venue showcases all of the new developments of Abu Dhabi. This interactive experience centre will bring alive the historical and cultural vision behind Saadiyat Island as well as its future plans.

    Following your return to Dubai you will enjoy dinner at Fire and Ice Restaurant before retiring for the evening at your hotel.

    **Note: The Grand Mosque will no longer provide ladies a headscarf or abaya free of charge and there is no shop on sight to buy them. Ladies please come prepared with something to cover you head or entrance will unfortunately be denied. For men and women: no transparent clothing, no shorts or skirts, no sleeveless shirts, no clothing with profanity and no tight clothing (including leggings) or beachwear.

    Day 3: May 3rd, 2015

    Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After checking out of the hotel, you will enjoy a city tour of Dubai - the second largest of the seven Emirates. The tour begins with a drive to the Jumeirah Beach area with photo stops at the Jumeirah Mosque, a magnificent example of modern Islamic architecture, followed by a stop to photograph the landmark of the city, the famous Burj Al Arab Hotel which is built on a manmade island.

    From here you drive to the Marina and take a 10-minute break to walk through the Marina overlooking the lagoon. Thereafter, you drive through the Jumeirah Beach Residence area onto the Emirates Hills, The Springs and Meadows, which are today the most sought after residence areas and drive onto the Palm Jumeirah, which is the most talked about project of the new Dubai.

    Continue on to the Sheikh Zayed road and arrive at the Dubai Mall which is the largest shopping mall in the world. The Dubai Mall is the region's premier shopping, lifestyle and entertainment destination. With more than 1,200 stores and a host of world-class attractions, The Dubai Mall is revolutionizing the modern shopping experience.

    Finally walk to Burj Khalifa (tallest building in the world) and enjoy a moment at the viewing gallery at a top floor of the building.

    Following your city tour you will be transferred to the ship for embarkation.

    1:00pm Marina Mall for lunch on own and shopping time

    3:00pm Transfer to Yas Island for panoramic tour

    4:15pm Head to Saadiyat Island and visit Manarat Saadiyat

    5:00pm Return transfer to Dubai

    7:00pm Expected arrival at hotel to freshen up before dinner

    8:00pm Depart for dinner at Fire and Ice Restaurant (in the Raffles Hotel)

    DAY 3

    Breakfast at hotel

    8:30am Check out and proceed for Modern Dubai City Tour including a stop at the Dubai Mall

    1:30pm Visit “At the Top” Burj Khalifa – Observation deck

    3:00pm Arrival at Port Rashid and check-in/board the ship

    What to Bring: Summer wear, Comfortable shoes, Sun glasses, hats etc.

    For the visit of Grand Mosque -

    • Modest, conservative, loose fitting clothing, long sleeves and trousers

    • No transparent (see-through) clothing

    • No shorts for men

    • No shorts or skirts for ladies

    • No tight clothing including leggings, no swimwear and no beachwear.

    • Shoes will be removed before entering the mosque, so we recommend slip off shoes

    • Headscarf for ladies is essential (these are no longer provided at the mosque – please bring your own)
