Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt-port

Located on the Sinai peninsula, Sharm el Sheikh has been the site of pivotal religious events. At the foot of Mount Horeb lies the Greek Orthodox Monastery of St. Catherine, said to be the Mount Sinai of the Old Testament and the place where the prophet Moses encountered the Burning Bush and received the Ten Commandments. Pilgrims have been traveling to this site since the 5th century, and each day hundreds of visitors come to pay their respects. Sharm El Sheikh is also the diving and snorkeling mecca of the Red Sea region.

Don't miss this rare opportunity to explore the mysterious and exciting underwater world surrounding Sharm el Sheikh.

Depart the pier for the brief transfer to El Maya Bay, located just minutes from the ship's dock, where your Aquascope awaits your arrival. The Aquascope has upper and lower decks. The lower deck is completely underwater, and offers spectacular, up-close views of the colorful reefs and fish of the Red Sea. On the open-air upper deck, you can take photos of the scenic coast, relax, and take in the fresh air and scenery while sipping a soft drink.

Please note: The upper deck is not covered. You will spend approximately 1.5 hours on the glass-bottom boat. There are no restroom stops on this tour.
