Learn about Southern Australia's wine industry, Aboriginal heritage and capital city during this memorable half-day tour of Adelaide.
Depart the pier for a brief sightseeing drive through Adelaide. As you travel along the tree-lined North Terrace, you will see the casino, the Parliament House, the Botanical Gardens and a number of stately Colonial buildings.
Next, you will visit the Tandanya Cultural Institute for an opportunity to experience contemporary and traditional Aboriginal culture. Upon arrival, you will take a walking tour through several galleries featuring local, national and internationally-acclaimed exhibitions. View the works of emerging and established indigenous artists, and learn about the diverse Aboriginal people.
Your tour will conclude with a visit to the nearby Penfolds Magill Estate, home of the world-famous Grange wine. You will take a walking tour of this renowned estate, learn how it helped bring international recognition to Southern Australia's wine industry and participate in a tasting of the estate's wines.
Following your visit, you will rejoin your coach for the return drive to the pier.
