Beach Escape to Campello
Duration: 4 hours
Tour Code: ALC-008
Beach lovers will appreciate this half-day excursion that gives you the opportunity to sun bathe or relax and take a stroll along one of Costa Blanca's beautiful beaches.
Departing from the pier, it's a 30-minute transfer to the nearby resort of Campello. Although not far from the hustle and bustle of Alicante, the resort offers a tranquil alternative with its 6 miles of golden, sandy beaches and traffic-free promenade.
This lovely resort area enjoys ample sunshine year-round with an average annual temperature of 66º F, so there is plenty of opportunity to perfect your tan. There are also many small coves nestled along the coast, making it an ideal place to enjoy water sports such as windsurfing and sailing. For those who prefer to stay on dry land, there are many cycling and hiking paths here as well.
If you would like to relax and have a bite to eat in-between your activities, several dining venues are available and Campello is well-known for its excellent fish restaurants.
Your visit in Campello will conclude after approximately 3-hours when you will meet your escort and coach at the appointed time and location for the trip back to the pier in Alicante.
Please note: The walking on this tour is solely at the guests' discretion. The tour is available to wheelchair guests who have a collapsible wheelchair, are able to make their own way on and off the coach and have a companion to assist them. Those with mobility concerns are cautioned to evaluate their personal level of stamina and ability. Weather appropriate clothing; swimwear, a hat; sunglasses; sunscreen and flat, comfortable walking shoes are suggested. Any additional activities such as water sports or cycling are optional and not included in the tour cost. Those guests who take part in any of the available optional activities do so at their own risk and responsibility. Guests who are not at the appointed pick-up location on time for the return transfer will be responsible for making their own way back to the ship, at their own expense.
