Boracay Island is a mere four miles long, yet it is home to some of the Philippines’ most beautiful and unspoiled beaches. The minute island is located just three hours from the capital city of Manila. Visit the less frequented Bulabog Beach and watch windsurfers seemingly fly across the crystal water or for a more secluded experience visit Puka Beach to the north.

Minimal Activity Required
Spend a carefree day at one of the world’s most spectacular beaches, an idyllic setting where you can enjoy the sand and sea in whatever way you wish.
After tendering from the ship, you will soon step ashore at Boracay, a beautiful speck of an island just 4.5 miles long. While the origin of its name isn’t certain, Boracay may derive from the Philippine word for “white cotton,” a reference to the powdery beaches here.
Experience the crystal clear waters and powder-white sand of the island at Boracay Regency. A resort with striking Mediterranean-inspired architecture, landscaped gardens and an expansive beach front. Good shopping opportunity awaits you or simply enjoy sipping your favorite cocktail in while you stare at the beautiful horizon in front of you.
You will enjoy just over three hours here, doing whatever you please. You might relax in the shade under a coconut palm, stroll the talcum-soft sand, or stretch out on a towel in the radiant sun. In time, you may enjoy a complimentary snack at the resort consisting of a sandwich, water and juice.
Please note: Walking on this tour is mainly at the guests’ discretion and will include sandy and other natural and uneven surfaces. The tour is not available to wheelchair guests and those with mobility concerns are cautioned to carefully evaluate their personal level of stamina and ability. Swimwear; sun cap; sunglasses; sunscreen; a change of clothes; a towel from the ship; and flat, comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Those who participate in any water activities do so at their own risk and responsibility. There are no coaches in Boracay so guests will be transferred to the resort via cabs.
Explore four different sites that are ideal for snorkeling and swimming and that reveal why Boracay has been recognized as one of the world’s best tropical islands.
After departing in a boat from the pier in Cagban, you will soon arrive at the Coral Garden, a popular snorkeling site in the warm waters of the Sulu Sea. Considering that the sea here is usually clear and calm and ranges in depth from 15 to 40 feet, the Coral Garden is ideal for beginners or even first-time snorkelers.
After a safety briefing, you’ll enter the water where the coral below provides an excellent habitat for colorful tropical fish such as sergeant majors, butterfly fish and even batfish, which oddly are poor swimmers and usually walk on the bottom on their fins. Besides swimming alongside the schools of fish, you will have the opportunity to feed them from the comfort of the boat.
Next, you will relax on Diniwid Beach, which tends to be laid back and un-crowded because from land it can only be accessed through a footpath cut into a rocky cliff. Here, you will have time for a leisurely swim, a stroll along the shoreline or to simply relax in the shade.
Continuing north along the coast, you will soon reach Balinghai, another rather secluded beach, where you may snorkel and swim. Finally, you cruise to Lobster Rock, a snorkeling site that supports a colony of spiny lobsters and plenty of other colorful sea creatures. Afterwards, you will return to the pier.
Please note: Walking on this tour is mainly at the guests’ discretion and will include sandy and other natural and uneven surfaces. The snorkeling requires a moderate amount of activity that includes entering and exiting the boat several times if electing to snorkel or swim at each stop; however, those who do not wish to enter the water may stay on the boat. The tour is not available to wheelchair guests and those with mobility concerns are cautioned to carefully evaluate their personal level of stamina and ability. Guests should be in good physical condition. A cover-up worn over swimwear; sun cap; sunglasses; sunscreen; a change of clothes; and flat, comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Snorkeling equipment is included. Those who participate in any water activities do so at their own risk and responsibility. There are no restroom facilities on this tour.
