Day 1
Disembark in Laem Chabang and relax aboard your comfortable coach for the journey to Bangkok, Thailand’s captivating capital, where gilded temples, royal heritage and vibrant city life create an unforgettable sense of place.
Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the splendor of the Grand Palace, the storied former residence of Thailand’s kings and one of Bangkok’s most treasured landmarks. Within its dazzling complex of ceremonial halls, ornate pavilions and sacred courtyards lies the revered Temple of the Emerald Buddha, home to a luminous green jasper image whose seasonal robes are changed by the king during a deeply symbolic royal ceremony.
After this majestic introduction to the city, savor lunch at a local restaurant, where Thai hospitality and regional flavors offer a delicious pause in the day.
Continue to Wat Po, the revered Temple of the Reclining Buddha and Bangkok’s oldest temple. More than one thousand Buddha images grace the grounds, while the temple’s magnificent gold-plated reclining Buddha stretches an impressive 150 feet in length and nearly 50 feet in height, creating one of the city’s most memorable spiritual encounters.
Later, check in to the Shangri-La Bangkok, an elegant riverside retreat set along the Chao Phraya River. With beautifully appointed accommodations, refined dining venues, a serene riverside pool and an acclaimed spa, the hotel offers an inviting sanctuary in the heart of the city, complemented by warm service and effortless access to Bangkok’s cultural treasures.
The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure, whether lingering by the river, exploring nearby neighborhoods or choosing an independent dining experience for dinner.
With a minimum of ten guests booked, an RSSC Hospitality Desk will be available at the hotel on the first floor near the escalator on the Lower Lobby Floor. The team will be pleased to assist with suggestions for independent exploration and dining. Time to be advised.
Day 2
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and settle any incidentals before departing for the canal pier. From here, embark on a local river boat cruise along the lively Chao Phraya River and into the intricate network of klongs in the Thonburi district, where Bangkok reveals a more intimate rhythm of life. As you glide through these storied waterways, enjoy picturesque scenes of traditional Thai canal culture, from floating grocery stores and swift water taxis to teakwood houses set on stilts and tucked-away temples.
Your first stop is the Royal Barge Museum, home to an extraordinary collection of ornately decorated ceremonial longboats once reserved for royal occasions. Among the highlights is the lavish Suphanahong, a gilded, swan-shaped barge traditionally used by the king, alongside other remarkable vessels that showcase Thailand’s refined artistry and centuries-old craftsmanship.
Continue to Wat Arun, the iconic Temple of Dawn and one of Bangkok’s most beloved landmarks. Set along the riverbank, this striking temple invites leisurely exploration of its graceful grounds, richly detailed surfaces and decorative murals that reflect the city’s deep spiritual and artistic heritage.
Your journey then leads to Khlong Bang Luang Artist House, also known as Baan Silapin, a charming cultural hideaway tucked along a quiet Thonburi canal. Set within a century-old teakwood home, this community-run space celebrates Bangkok’s creative spirit through rotating art exhibits, local crafts and hands-on workshops such as traditional mask painting. With its peaceful canal-side setting and inviting café, the Artist House offers an authentic glimpse into local life while supporting the preservation of Thai heritage.
Following your visit, savor lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Laem Chabang, where you will re-board the ship after an enriching overnight exploration of Bangkok’s royal traditions, riverside life and artistic heritage.

Expected Weather:
Hot and Dry. The average midday temperatures can hover to upper 30s C (85-90 F), especially in inland areas like Bangkok.
What to Bring:
Comfortable and casual clothing and good walking shoes, a hat and sunscreen, sunglasses, bathing suit, wet wipes. Local dress codes should be observed. Please avoid uncovered shoulders, shorts or revealing clothing. Full length trousers or pants and/or skirts covering the knees are required to be worn when visiting the Grand Palace. Guests are requested to take off their footwear and hats when visiting religious sites.
Local Currency:
The local currency is the Thai Baht; however, guests are encouraged to bring US Dollars with them as they are most commonly accepted in Thailand. Bring smaller denominations of US Dollars with you, as change will be made in the local currency.

Rooms are equipped with 220-volt, two-pin US style electrical outlets. We recommend travelling with your own universal adapter kit should you have electronic devices.

Please Note: Land programs that encompass multiple days ashore customarily include extensive and prolonged activity, while those of shorter durations typically have more moderate activity levels. However, each program varies, and participants should be prepared to negotiate a mixture of surfaces which may include inclines, cobblestones, sand, and gravel or natural paths. There may also be a need to climb steps or stairs on occasion. Guests who utilize a wheelchair and those with mobility concerns are advised to check with the cruise line in advance to see if any portion of the tour program may not be considered suitable for their individual situation. All land programs are capacity controlled and subject to availability. Programs falling under the minimum number of required participants are subject to cancellation. Once purchased, pricing is guaranteed and not subject to change. Mid cruise overland programs must be purchased no later than 90 days prior to your sail date. Cancellations made within 90 days or less prior to the sail date are subject to 100% cancellation penalty.

Day 1 – December 6, 2028
After disembarking the ship in Laem Chabang, meet your guide and transfer to Bangkok International Airport for a flight to Siem Reap, accompanied by a representative from our local ground agency.
Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you will be welcomed and assisted with your Cambodian entry visa. From there, transfer to your hotel and settle in for the beginning of your Angkor adventure.
After check in and lunch, transfer out of Siem Reap to experience the natural surroundings of Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake, Tonle Sap. Head out onto the lake to explore the fascinating floating villages and observe daily life in the stilted-house communities. Drift across the lake, soaking in the serene atmosphere while watching the majestic sunset over the horizon and sipping a glass of champagne or a cocktail served with canapés.
Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.
DAY 2 – December 7, 2028
After breakfast, begin the day with a meaningful Cambodian tradition: a holy water blessing performed by Buddhist monks at a local pagoda. As sacred chants fill the air, the monks lightly sprinkle holy water to invite good fortune, happiness and prosperity, then tie a red string around your wrist to complete the ritual.
Before continuing, secure temple passes and then your exploration continues to the ancient capital of Angkor Thom. Enter through the monumental South Gate, where stone gods and demons line the approach to this once-mighty royal city.
Within the ancient city walls, encounter the serene stone faces of Bayon Temple, a 12th-century masterpiece commissioned by King Jayavarman VII.
Continue to Baphuon, Phimeanakas Temple, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King, each revealing another chapter of Angkor’s royal and ceremonial past.
Continue to atmospheric Ta Prohm, where ancient stonework is dramatically entwined with the roots of towering strangler figs and kapok trees. Beloved by photographers, this evocative temple appears almost suspended between architecture and jungle, with every corner offering a striking glimpse of nature reclaiming history.
Following lunch at a local restaurant, visit Satcha, a Cambodian handicraft social enterprise dedicated to supporting local artisans through education and financial opportunity. Here, contemporary design meets traditional Khmer craftsmanship, resulting in beautifully made pieces that celebrate Cambodia’s cultural heritage while fostering sustainable social and economic impact.
As evening approaches, enjoy a serene gondola ride along the moat of Angkor Thom. Board your traditional Khmer vessel near the South Gate and drift through the tranquil twilight while sipping wine and enjoying canapés.
If you wish, pause for a short walk to Prasat Chrung, where magical views unfold as the ancient city glows in the fading light. Return to your hotel for a little time to unwind before dinner at the hotel.
Day 3 – December 8, 2028
This morning is devoted to Angkor Wat, the crown jewel of the Khmer Empire and one of the world’s most iconic sacred landmarks. As you explore this UNESCO-listed masterpiece, admire its graceful towers, vast galleries and extraordinary bas-reliefs, which unfold along the outer walls in a continuous narrative of Hindu mythology.
After your visit, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and some time at leisure.
This evening, enjoy an unforgettable dinner amid the ancient landscape of Angkor with rare after-dark access to the grounds of a historic temple. Follow a torchlit path into the atmospheric venue, where the sound of Khmer drums, traditional music and graceful dance performances create a memorable celebration of Cambodia’s storied past.
DAY 4 – December 9, 2028
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out and transferring to Siem Reap Airport for your flight to Singapore. Upon arrival, proceed through Customs and Immigration, where you will be met for the transfer to the port and your awaiting ship.

Bring a hat or a head covering for sun protection and don’t forget your sunscreen, sunglasses, and bug spray (you should have mosquito repellent for sunrise and sunset hours). It’s also a good idea to bring along a small packet of tissues or wet wipes. It is also suggested that guests wear flat comfortable walking shoes (not sandals or open-toed shoes / flip flops). Guests are requested to take off their footwear and hats when visiting religious sites.
Local Currency:
Guests are encouraged to bring US Dollars with them as they are most commonly accepted in Cambodia. The local currency is the Cambodian Riel. You should take smaller denominations of US Dollars with you, as they will keep you from ending up with a lot of local change that you will not be able to re-exchange back home.

Luggage information
Guests are permitted to bring one checked suitcase (max 20 kg or 44lbs) on all flights. One small carry-on per person is also permitted. Any additional pieces or overweight luggage will be in excess, and fees will be paid to the airline at the guests’ expense. Guests will be required to pay these fees when checking in for the internal flights.
Carriage of Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC) or CPAP breathing machines on internal flights per airline regulations (subject to change as each airline has their own regulations)
1.Portable Oxygen Concentrator (POC) - Guests must obtain a Doctor’s Certificate mentioning their medical condition and the need to carry a POC. Further paperwork may be required by the airline.
2.CPAP Machine NOT being used in flight – please advise RSSC at least 95 days before your cruise if you will bring a CPAP on the internal flight(s) used in this land program. Please supply the make, model and battery type.
3.CPAP Machine to be used during flight – same as above + a doctor’s note is required mentioning the need to use the machine during flight.
*Guests are required to bring with them any details from the manufacturer regarding the CPAP specifications. While most modern CPAP machines are FAA-approved for in-flight use, having a copy of your manufacturer’s FAA-approval status will help to quickly clear any confusion that may arise.
* Not providing the above details in a timely manner may result in a denial of this equipment at the airport for which Regent Seven Seas Cruises nor our local ground operator will be responsible for.
*Some hotels do not provide distilled water. While we can certainly request this for you, we cannot guarantee that it will be available. If received in a timely manner, at least 95 days before sailing, requests will be sent on the final manifest that our ground operators and hotels receive. We highly recommend packing your own supply, especially on programs that travel to more remote locations in order to avoid not having it. Please keep in mind the rule for liquids in carry-on bags. Please note: Land programs that encompass multiple days ashore customarily include extensive and prolonged activity, while those of shorter durations typically have more moderate activity levels. However, each program varies, and participants should be prepared to negotiate a mixture of surfaces which may include inclines, cobblestones, sand, and gravel or natural paths. There may also be a need to climb steps or stairs on occasion. Guests who utilize a wheelchair and those with mobility concerns are advised to check with the cruise line in advance to see if any portion of the tour program may not be considered suitable for their individual situation. Weather appropriate clothing; hats; sunglasses; and flat, comfortable walking shoes are generally recommended.
All land programs are capacity controlled and subject to availability. Programs falling under the minimum number of required participants are subject to cancellation. Pricing listed is also subject to change to meet unexpected cost increases for transportation, land arrangements, or currency fluctuations.
Once purchased, pricing is guaranteed and not subject to change. Mid cruise overland programs must be purchased no later than 90 days prior to your sail date. Cancellations made within 90 days or less prior to the sail date are subject to 100% cancellation penalty.
