Description

Hike through a lush forest in a national park and then relax on one of the island’s most glorious beaches. A meandering drive inland will take you to Sage Mountain National Park, the highest point in the British and U.S. Virgin Islands. While hiking, you may see towering bullet wood trees, oddly named but scentless stinking fish trees and mourning doves, the national bird of Tortola. You will also be treated to spectacular vistas and an informative narrative about the park’s flora and fauna. Afterwards, you will head for popular Cane Garden Bay on the island’s northern shore, where you will be free to do whatever you please. Take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear sea, lounge about in the shade of a palm, wander along the shoreline or linger over a tropical beverage at a beachfront bar. The mood will be carefree, relaxing and immensely pleasurable.
