Witness the beauty of some of Tortola’s premier manmade and natural attractions and then linger at one of the island’s most popular beaches. As you ascend Ridge Road just beyond the city limits, you will see a mural by a local artist that depicts daily life on Tortola and many of the island’s most significant events, including the abolishment of slavery in 1834. Before long, you enter the beautiful “up country” along the northwestern shore, where you will find Cane Garden Bay. In this stunningly beautiful setting, you will enjoy free time to do as you please. You might take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear sea, lounge about in the shade of a palm, wander along the shoreline or linger over a tropical beverage at a beachfront bar. Cane Garden Bay couldn’t be more relaxing and the return drive to Road Town will be just as pleasant.
