Petronas is currently home to the world's tallest pair of freestanding towers, which rise 1,482 feet above the skyline. Your next stop is the Jame Mosque. Built in 1909, it is the oldest mosque in Kuala Lumpur, and features graceful arches and domes that are reminiscent of Moorish architecture. At Independence Square, you will see the 328-foot flagpole marking the spot where the Malaysian flag was hoisted on August 31, 1957 to commemorate the country's independence from British rule.

The temple architecture is believed to have been inspired by the Nallur Kandaswamy Temple in Jaffna, Sri Lanka.

Next, you will continue on to the Alam Shah Palace (exterior view only), one of several residences of the Sultan of Selangor. From here, you will proceed to the Stadhuys and commence the walking portion of your tour. You will walk to St. Paul's Hill, then continue on to A'Famosa before re-boarding your coach again for the transfer to the Baba and Nyonya Museum.
