Amsterdam Art & Architecture Land Program in Amsterdam

Get ready to be wined, dined and taken through Amsterdam in a way like you’ve never experienced before. You’ll spend your down time at the Radisson Blu hotel (or similar), which is conveniently located close to some of the city’s best restaurants and museums.

Your days will begin with a delectable breakfast before heading out to explore your surroundings. Together, we’ll visit the Van Gogh Museum and witness his largest collection in the world, including Sunflowers and Self-Portrait with Straw Hat. You’ll also explore Amsterdam’s famous canals by boat on a two-hour unforgettable cruise.

And because we know you like options, choose to take a guided walk through the city center or spend the afternoon on your own—dining, shopping and exploring The Rembrandt house, Rijksmuseum, Hermitage or The Jewish Historical Museum.

We’ll also introduce you to a more low-key region just north of Amsterdam. Stopping first in Zaanse Schans, you’ll view famed windmills and clog-making experts. Next we’ll take you to the historical harbor town of Monnickendam for dining and shopping before visiting a nearby farm known for cheese-making. Your final stop in this region lands you at the idyllic village of Broek in Waterland.

Another day brings another getaway—this time to the medieval city of Haarlem where you’ll stroll into the Grote, also known as St. Bavo Kerk. Here, you’ll view its famous organ once played by Mendelssohn, Händel and the 10-year-old Mozart. You’ll end your Haarlem visit at Jopenkerk, a one-time church that now stands as a brewery and café.
