Regent Seven Seas Cruises Unveils New Online Professional Development Course

MIAMI, Mar. 15, 2017 – As part of the line’s dedication to supporting the travel agent community, Regent Seven Seas Cruises announces a new online course to its Regent Seven Seas Cruises University. The most-inclusive, luxury-experience brand unveils The Luxury of Choice, the latest online development course for travel professionals to recommend and sell Regent Seven Seas Cruises. The two-chapter course provides travel agents a detailed overview of the cruise line’s expansive list of customizable travel experiences and the opportunities for travel agents to grow their businesses. When they complete the new Luxury of Choice online course, travel agents will earn two Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from The Travel Institute and receive a $100 bonus commission on one new booking that they register within 90 days of completing the new course. Travel professionals can enroll in the Regent Seven Seas Cruises University through the cruise line’s Travel Agent Center at www.rssc.com/agent.

“Regent Seven Seas Cruises values the critical role that travel agents serve in our industry,” said Randall Soy, executive vice president of Sales and Marketing. “Our online professional development program is one of many ways we help travel agents sell cruises more effectively and win repeat business. In the same way we deliver the luxury of choice to our guests, our talented Sales and Marketing team also provides extraordinary service and tools to travel agents and works with them in whichever method they prefer.”

The Luxury of Choice comprises two chapters. The first chapter, Everything Your Client Prefers, presents all the choices that guests enjoy aboard the most-inclusive luxury experience, ranging from all-inclusive air program (business class air for intercontinental flights) to the vast menu of unlimited shore excursions, and a variety of suite configurations to distinctive gourmet dining at each meal.

The second chapter, Options to Grow Your Business, presents an in-depth look at the choices available for travel professionals to customize their sales and marketing efforts. Regent Seven Seas Cruises balances those tools with a robust Sales and Marketing team, who help ensure that the cruise line is providing travel professionals the power to decide what’s right for them and their business.

Launched in February 2016, Regent Seven Seas University provides general information about the brand, the fleet, the all-inclusive value proposition, and other resources for travel professionals. All courses are interactive with images, text and video narration to make information easy to understand. The courses can be started, paused, saved and completed at a pace convenient for travel partners. The first two online courses include: The Regent Experience and Selling Luxury.
