Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises & Regent Seven Seas Cruises
Commitment to Guest Health & Safety
At Regent Seven Seas Cruises, your health and safety are our highest priorities. Every ship is equipped with a staffed Medical Center available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ensuring prompt, professional, and compassionate care for guests and crew alike. Onboard facilities are equipped to address routine medical issues and to provide initial stabilization of serious conditions pending further treatment. Whether for a minor illness, a sudden injury, or an urgent medical event, our medical team is ready to assist.
Medical Center Team & Capabilities
Our onboard facilities meet or exceed the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) and the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP)standards.
Availability of medical care is limited and must not to be compared to a USA Shoreside Hospital.
Emergency care is available around the clock. Routine clinic hours generally follow a schedule (subject to change depending on onboard needs) and may differ from ship to ship.
The onboard Medical Centers are equipped to deliver appropriate emergency medical care for guests and crew while at sea. In the event of a critical situation requiring more advanced treatment than can be provided onboard, patients will be safely transferred to shoreside medical facilities that can offer the necessary level of specialized care.
Medical Charges & Insurance
Due to the high price of medical services in ports of call we strongly recommend all guests to buy Travel Insurance that includes medical repatriation and hospitalization. Medical services are not included in your cruise fare, except on some itineraries and as desired on the specific cruise.
Insurance Reminder: U.S. insurers may require clarification that your care was delivered internationally. Please note:
