Kotor is a coastal town in Montenegro, located in a most secluded part of the Gulf of Kotor. The old port, surrounded by an impressive city wall built by the House of Nemanjicc, is very well preserved and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Numerous other attractions include the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon in the old town (built in 1166), and ancient walls which stretch directly above the city. Nightlife also attracts tourists to Kotor with pubs, taverns, cafes, and nightclubs.

    DAY 1

    The adventure continues with a scenic bus drive through the lush Lovcen National Park, leading to the charming town of Cetinje. Here, delve into Montenegro's rich history with a guided walking tour, including an insightful visit to the King’s Nikola Museum, a treasure trove of cultural heritage.

    Next, enjoy a short drive to the quaint Restaurant Konak, where a delightful lunch awaits, offering a taste of local cuisine in a cozy setting.

    The journey then takes you towards the vibrant town of Budva, known for its medieval architecture and beautiful beaches. Explore Budva's enchanting streets and landmarks on a leisurely guided walking tour, immersing yourself in its unique atmosphere.

    Conclude your day with a sumptuous dinner at the renowned Restaurant Posat, known for its exquisite cuisine and ambient setting.     DAY 2

    After breakfast, embark on a guided walking tour of Dubrovnik's Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This tour includes an inside visit to the majestic Dubrovnik Cathedral, showcasing its rich history and architectural splendor. Enhance your experience with a cable car ride up to Srd Hill, offering panoramic views of the city and the Adriatic Sea.

    Enjoy some leisure time exploring the charming streets of Dubrovnik Old Town, where history and culture come alive at every corner.

    Next, take a scenic drive from Dubrovnik towards the Šapro Family Mill & Estate. Here, immerse yourself in the local culture with a visit to the estate, followed by a delightful lunch, offering a taste of traditional cuisine in a serene setting.

    In the afternoon, journey towards Kotor, crossing the border back into Montenegro. Upon arrival in Kotor, discover the enchanting Old Town with a guided walking tour. This includes an inside visit to the St. Tryphon’s Cathedral and the Maritime Museum, both integral parts of Kotor's UNESCO-listed heritage.

    Expected Weather:

    The temperature reaches around 19? / 66.2°F during the daytime in October, falling away to 14? / 57.2°F at night.

    What to Bring:

    Weather in October can be variable, so layered clothing is ideal. Include lightweight, breathable items that can be easily added or removed. A light, waterproof jacket is suggested for unexpected rain showers. Durable, comfortable walking or hiking shoes with good grip for navigating different terrains, such as cobblestones and natural paths. A hat for sun protection and sunglasses for bright days.

    Please note that USD is not widely accepted in Croatia. However, currency exchange offices are readily available for your convenience.

    Electricity

    The electric energy system in Croatia is the same as in the rest of Europe. All installations emit an alternating current of 220V/50Hz, and the sockets used are type F (so-called “Schuko” sockets). We recommend bringing a universal travel adaptor for electric devices.

    Documents and Visa Requirements:

    A passport that is valid at least 6 months after travel is required. It is mandatory for all participants to carry their valid passport throughout the duration of the tour to ensure smooth border crossings.

    Please check with your local embassy for any visa requirements for your nationality for entry to Croatia and Montenegro.

    If traveling internationally, the countries you are connecting through may have different document requirements and as such we encourage you to visit the government and airport websites of every country you will be traveling to throughout the journey to familiarize yourself with their requirements
