Casablanca is Morocco’s largest city and industrial center. Its renaissance came with the French protectorate under its first resident general, Lyautey. It was largely his ideas on public works and the layout of the new city which gave Casablanca its wide boulevards, public parks and fountains, and imposing Moresque civic buildings.

    DAY 1

Disembark in Casablanca, meet your guide and settle in for the three-hour journey to Marrakech.

Upon arrival, begin with a visit to the Koutoubia Mosque, admired for its majestic 12th-century minaret — the tallest structure in the city and one of the finest examples of Almohad architecture. Its design later inspired the Giralda in Seville and the Hassan Tower in Rabat.

Continue to the Bahia Palace, a magnificent 19th-century residence built for Grand Vizier Si Moussa and later expanded by his son Ba Ahmed. The palace’s name, meaning “Brilliance,” reflects its exquisite craftsmanship, with intricate stucco work, carved cedar ceilings, marble courtyards, and serene Andalusian gardens. Once intended to be the most beautiful palace of its time, it remains a remarkable testament to Moroccan artistry and refinement.

Next, visit the elegant Dar El Bacha Museum, a former palace of the powerful Pasha of Marrakech. Today, it showcases the refined art of Moroccan craftsmanship, with beautifully restored salons, zellige tilework, carved wood, and decorative stucco, offering insight into the city’s political and cultural history in the early 20th century.

In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the bustling Medina and traditional souks, where artisans continue centuries-old traditions in metalwork, leather, textiles, and spices. This vibrant maze of colors, sounds, and scents offers an authentic glimpse into daily Moroccan life.

Enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch at the renowned Dar Essalam Restaurant, an iconic setting celebrated for its refined cuisine and cinematic heritage. The restaurant famously appeared in Alfred Hitchcock’s classic film “The Man Who Knew Too Much,” adding a touch of timeless glamour to this cultural experience.

Continue to the legendary Jemaa El Fna Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As evening falls, the square transforms into an open-air theatre filled with storytellers, musicians, snake charmers, and food stalls serving local specialties. Thereafter proceed to your hotel for check-in and some time to refresh before rejoining the group for a horse-drawn carriage ride through the illuminated streets. Enjoy dinner and soak in the city’s enchanting nightlife, before returning to your hotel.

    DAY 2

Following breakfast at the hotel, settle any incidentals and check out before meeting your guide. The day begins with a visit to the Agafay Desert, a tranquil rocky landscape just outside Marrakech that perfectly captures the spirit of Morocco’s wilderness. Upon arrival, meet your camel caravan and set off on an unforgettable camel ride across the vast, open terrain surrounded by soft hills and distant views of the Atlas Mountains. The calm of the desert and the gentle pace of the camels create a peaceful and authentic Moroccan experience.

After the ride, relax in a desert camp and enjoy a refreshing mint tea with local delicacies before continuing your journey toward Agadir. The drive is approximately three hours.

Upon arrival, take a scenic drive through the city’s modern boulevards and along its seafront promenade, where contemporary life blends with Morocco’s coastal charm.

Continue to the beautiful Medina Coco Polizzi, a masterful reconstruction of a traditional southern Moroccan town. Stroll through its cobbled lanes, admire the hand-built earthen architecture, and visit artisan workshops showcasing local crafts. Then, savor a delicious Moroccan lunch in this serene and cultural setting.

Conclude your day with a comfortable drive to the pier where you will reboard the ship, carrying with you unforgettable memories of Morocco — from the stillness of the desert to the coastal beauty of Agadir.
