    DAY 2

    Following breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide for a morning dedicated to Cologne’s cultural treasures.     Following breakfast at the hotel, settle any incidentals and check out. Guests with early flights will receive

    breakfast boxes, while those with later departures may store luggage at reception until their transfer time.

    Check out time at the hotel is at 12:00pm. Your private transfer to the Frankfurt International Airport will be based on your flight time.

    Upon arrival at Frankfurt International Airport (FRA), guests will be greeted by a local representative who will facilitate transfer to the hotel. Please note that transfer duration is typically 30–40 minutes, though this may vary according to arrival time and traffic conditions.

    Hotel check-in is available from 3:00pm. For guests arriving prior to this time, luggage storage is provided at the hotel. You are welcome to enjoy the hotel's amenities or explore the immediate vicinity at your leisure.

    Your first evening in Germany will be spent at The Florentin, a contemporary and elegant hotel located in the center of Frankfurt. With close proximity to luxury shopping, museums, and the Main river promenade, the location is well-suited for independent exploration before your tour officially commences.

    The afternoon is yours to spend as you prefer and all meals are on your own today. Whether you choose to relax after your journey, browse nearby retail areas, or enjoy refreshments at a local café, you are free to settle-in comfortably.

    A hospitality desk will be staffed at the hotel from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, providing an opportunity to meet your guide, obtain answers to any inquiries, and receive support regarding local arrangements or details of your program.

    Following breakfast at your hotel, check out and meet your guide. Today will be a day filled with breathtaking scenery, cultural treasures, and culinary highlights as you make your way toward the Mosel Valley.

    Your journey begins with a drive to the charming village of Assmannshausen, where you will board a riverboat for a short but unforgettable Rhine River cruise, offering panoramic views of steep vineyards, medieval castles, and riverside villages.

    Upon arrival in Rüdesheim, enjoy a scenic cable car ride up to the Niederwald Monument, a dramatic viewpoint overlooking the Rhine.     After the tour, enjoy some free time to explore Trier’s charming Old Town or visit a local café. Lunch will follow at a carefully selected restaurant, such as Gastraum by Villa Hügel, offering seasonal regional cuisine with modern flair and views over the city.

    Today you’ll travel north into Germany’s vibrant cultural capital on the Rhine — Cologne. Upon arrival, begin with a guided visit to the city’s most iconic landmark, the awe-inspiring Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom), a masterpiece of Gothic architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

    After a short walk through the historic center and some free time to browse local shops or enjoy a riverside view, sit down for lunch at a carefully chosen local restaurant featuring regional specialties.

    Land programs that encompass multiple days ashore customarily include extensive and prolonged activity, while those of shorter durations typically have more moderate activity levels. However, each program varies, and participants should be prepared to negotiate a mixture of surfaces which may include inclines, cobblestones, sand, and gravel or natural paths. There may also be a need to climb steps or stairs on occasion. Guests who utilize a wheelchair and those with mobility concerns are advised to check with the cruise line in advance to see if any portion of the tour program may not be considered suitable for their individual situation. Weather appropriate clothing; hats; sunglasses; and flat, comfortable walking shoes are generally recommended.

    All land programs are capacity controlled and subject to availability. Programs falling under the minimum number of required participants are subject to cancellation. Pricing listed is also subject to change to meet unexpected cost increases for transportation, land arrangements or currency fluctuations. Once purchased, pricing is guaranteed and not subject to change. Land Programs must be purchased no later than 90 days prior to your sail date. Cancellations made within 90 days or less prior to the sail date are subject to 100% cancellation penalty. There are no refunds for unused portions of any program.
